The city of Milton has issued two requests for proposals for Bell Memorial Park, which is undergoing a substantial expansion.

The city seeks bids from companies interested in operating a maintenance program for the park. Interested firms have until 2 p.m. Oct. 1. to submit paperwork to the city of Milton, 13000 Deerfield Parkway, Suite 107F.

Bidders are also being sought from those interested in handling park concessions. The deadline for those proposals is 2 p.m. Oct. 8.

Milton officials broke ground on the expansion of the park, 15245 Bell Park Road, in early August. The more than $9 million project will expand the park from a 12-acre facility with four baseball diamonds to a 30-acre multi-faceted facility with athletic fields and passive recreation.
