Department coordinator Tom Gilliam received the "2011 Visibility & Marketing Award" for a single-event publication from the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association at the group's August conference in Macon. The organization cited Milton's "Concerts in the Park: Boogie Down at Birmingham" posters, created and printed in-house by Communications Manager Jason Wright.
