The Milton City Council has approved a $25,236 contract to have TriScapes Inc. repair a washout under a bridge abutment on Hamby Road.

TriScapes submitted the lowest of three bids for the repairs at the bridge, 3260 Hamby Road, staff said in a report to the council.

According to the contract, TriScapes will place forms under the bridge and fill a void under a bridge approach slab; remove and replace a damaged guardrail; and stabilize the embankment around the bridge with rip rap stone.

The work is to be completed with 10 business days of the start date specified in the Notice to Proceed, the contract says.
