Milton is seeking residents’ comments through an online “Plan the Park Clubhouse/Lodge” survey concerning the former Milton Country Club property.
The city acquired the 137-acre country club at 1785 Dinsmore Road in February 2018 as part of its greenspace initiative. The purchase included seven “Active Acres” with swimming, tennis and clubhouse facilities.
Since the community planning process started last October, responses from nearly 1,200 neighbors indicate a desire for flexible multi-purpose spaces for active indoor programming and community use; expanded restrooms, lockers and changing facilities for existing swim and tennis programs; and quality food options, the city says in the introduction to the survey. Survey responses are due by May 22.
“While the planning process started at a very high level, it continues to a more detailed discussion,” the city says. “The survey that follows is designed to gather your thoughts regarding these previously identified priorities and uses for the future clubhouse facility.”
