Milton getting specially-equipped bikes

The Milton Police and Fire Departments will be getting four specially-equipped first responder bicycles designed for emergency use.

Officials with the Milton First Responder Foundations Tuesday night presented checks from a charitable foundation and a local pub to city officials for the purchase of the bikes. The police and fire departments will each get two of the two-wheeled vehicles which are specially designed for use at community events to make it easier for first responders to maneuver through crowds.
