Milton Mayor Joe Lockwood and the City Council on Monday are scheduled to discuss the Community Trail Prioritization Plan, a document that will guide trail, sidepath and sidewalk projects in the North Fulton community over the next 10 years.

The plan has been months in the making, involving 25 volunteers on the Milton Trails Advisory Committee, with input from citizens through public meetings, open houses, council briefings, target group sessions and an online survey.

The effort focuses on five areas: Crabapple, Deerfield, Birmingham Park, and yet-to-be-named preserves at Cooper Sandy and Lackey Road. To learn more about the trail plan and process: https://bit.ly/3dOLJQv To review the draft plan: https://bit.ly/3dUzstU
