The city of Milton has established a fee schedule for residents and others wishing to rent the city’s newest park facility.

Council members voted Monday night to establish a $100 charge for groups wanting to rent the Broadwell Pavilion at 12615 Broadwell Road, for four hours. Parks Director Jim Cregge said that a $500 refundable deposit will also be required, and that charges will be 50 percent higher for non-residents.

The 40-by-52 foot open-air and fireplace-equipped pavilion debuted in February, and Cregge said residents have been clamoring to use it. The $500,000 project replaced a dilapidated Fulton County Recreation Center that wasn’t suitable to be renovated.
