The Milton City Council has approved a facility use agreement with Rhythm N’ Shoes to provide a year-round recreational dance program at the Bethwell Community Center.

Rhythm N’ Shoes will provide basic dance classes for two-year-olds, pre-ballet and tap classes for toddlers three to five, and ballet and tap classes for children five to seven, according to its agreement with the city. The first two classes will meet for 45 minutes and the third, for an hour, between 3:45 and 6:15 p.m. Thursdays.

Classes will meet for eight- to 10-week sessions. Fees will be about $12 per class for Milton residents; additionally, non-residents will pay a 50 percent surcharge. The city will receive a 15 percent commission on registrations and the surcharges in their entirety.

The Bethwell Community Center is at 2595 Hopewell Road.
