Milton residents have until Sunday, March 31 to nominate a notable athlete, coach or supporter of local parks programs for the Wall of Fame at Bell Memorial Park.

Nominations are being accepted at: https://bit.ly/2udh9Mn All names will be reviewed and vetted by city staff.

Among the qualifications: A nominee must be of good character and have been a resident of Milton or the surrounding community or a graduate of one of its high schools.

He or she may have participated in or supported the Milton Parks & Recreation Program or other local recreation program; and, if an athlete, must have achieved “a personal level of success” beyond high school. Eligibility begins five years after graduation.

Final selection will be made by a nine-member voting committee. Votes will be submitted by June 30, verified by the Milton city clerk, and announced at the first City Council meeting in July. A recognition and award ceremony will be held on the second Saturday of September.
