Military museum opens in McDonough

Henry County's Historical Military Museum has officially opened inside a McDonough park.

The museum features displays and exhibits from World War I forward and sits in the shadow of the Veterans Wall of Honor inside Heritage Park on Lake Dow Road.

Admission to the museum is free and is open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, except on county government holidays.
