Merchants on Main Street in Historic Duluth will host a grand opening on Sept. 17 to welcome nine new businesses in the district.
The event will start at 11 a.m.
Residents are invited to join in the celebration by painting and decorating hot air balloon blank miniature replicas that will be hung throughout the area. The balloons will become part of an outdoor art exhibit and will be unveiled at the grand opening.
