Johns Creek police are still looking for the person who led officers on a high-speed chase during a Mercedes test drive, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police told Channel 2 that an officer tried to pull over a driver on State Bridge Road on June 16. Dash-cam footage shows the car slowing down as if it is going to stop for the officer. Then, the car speeds up and takes off.

An officer pursued the car on a brief chase but had to stop when speeds reached more than 100 mph, per department policy.

Police believe the car belongs to a car dealer in the area. The driver could face charges of fleeing, eluding and reckless driving, police said.
