Lovejoy police were investigating an early morning shooting Monday that left two men wounded.

The shooting happened outside a home on Nicole Drive in the south Clayton County town.

“Several people were walking back through the buildings here and someone supposedly came out of one of the residences and started shooting,” Lovejoy police Sgt. Michael Gaddis told Channel 2 Action News.

The identities of the two victims have not been released, but Gaddis said their wounds were not believed to be life-threatening.
