The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions lottery climbed to $148 million after no players matched all six numbers in Tuesday night's game.

One ticket sold in Georgia matched the first five numbers drawn Tuesday -- 20, 24, 31, 33 and 36 -- but not the Mega Ball, which was 44. That player won $250,000.

The top prize in Mega Millions has been growing since Jan. 24, when Marcia Adams of College Park won a $72 million jackpot.

The jackpot for tonight's Power Ball multi-state lottery is $60 million.
