ORIGINAL STORY:Lottery players have another chance at winning the Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday.
Friday’s drawing yielded no winners, raising the jackpot to $454 million, Georgia Lottery officials said.
The jackpot did have a few winners. Two winning tickets worth $5,000 were sold in Palmetto and Manchester. Another winning ticket worth $10,000 was sold in Rome.
The jackpot has rolled over 33 times since March 11. One person won $157 million in Washington.
A single winner has the option to get a lump sum or 29 annual graduated payments. They can also take the cash option worth $319 million.
Mega Millions lottery proceeds benefit Georgia education programs, including pre-K programs and the HOPE scholarship.
