Mega Millions jackpot reaches $415M
UPDATED: The winning Mega Millions numbers were: 49, 45, 20, 42, and 41. The gold mega ball was 14.
ORIGINAL STORY:The Mega Millions jackpot has increased yet again, this time to the incredible amount of $415 million.
Friday night’s jackpot is the third-largest in Mega Millions history, lottery officials said.
The jackpot has had 32 rollovers since it started March 11, following the last jackpot win of $157 on March 8.
Ten winning tickets worth $5,000 were sold in Duluth, Lithonia, Newnan, Dunwoody, Savannah, Atlanta, Glenwood, Augusta, Waynesboro and Bolingbroke from Tuesday’s drawing.
Mega Millions offers two jackpot payment options: the $415 million annuity prize paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual graduated payments; or the cash option, which is approximately $286 million.
