The Mega Millions jackpot continued to climb over the weekend, while the top prize in the Powerball multi-state lottery was reset to $40 million after a player in New York matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s drawing.
The jackpot of Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing is $94 million. The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday.
On Saturday, a single Powerball ticket sold in the New York City suburb of Hartsdale matched all six numbers, winning a $70 million jackpot.
One Georgia Lottery player matched the first five numbers in Saturday’s Powerball drawing – 6, 11, 42, 53 and 54, but not the Power Ball, which was 7, and won a $1 million prize.
