UPDATE [5:30 a.m.]: Only one jackpot winning ticket was sold in Tuesday night's $522 million Mega Millions drawing, officials said, but it wasn't sold in Georgia.

The California Lottery said the winning ticket was sold at a store in San Jose. The ticket was the only one that matched all six numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing to win the $522 million jackpot, officials said.

Six tickets matched five numbers for a $1 million prize, while two tickets matched five numbers, including the Megaplier, for a $3 million prize. The winning numbers were 1, 2, 4, 19, 29 and Mega Ball 20 with a 3x Megaplier.

ORIGINAL STORY: As its winless string grows, the Mega Millions jackpot keeps getting bigger.

The jackpot for Tuesday night’s drawing has jumped to $522 million due to “robust” sales, Georgia Lottery officials said.

It’s the fifth-largest jackpot ever for Mega Millions, which has rolled over 22 times since May 8. The jackpot was last won May 4, with a $142 million top prize.

Taking home the big money won't be easy. The odds of winning are about 1 in 303 million, officials said. Your chances are better of being struck by lightning: 1 in 14,600.

But a winner Tuesday could claim the cash option of $308 million, or take an immediate payment and then 29 graduated annual payments.

You can watch the drawing at 11 p.m., right before the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat.
