Cherokee County senior citizens are invited to an informational meeting Wednesday on a home repair program offered by Habitat for Humanity of North Central Georgia.

The meeting is to start at 3:30 p.m. at Cherokee County Senior Services, 1001 Univeter Road, Canton. The home repair program helps low-income, non-Habitat homeowners impacted by age, disability and family circumstances, according to a meeting flyer.

Three levels of assistance are available: Accessibility, such as a ramp, stair lift or bathroom modifications; weatherization, to reduce energy costs; and critical home repairs, to complete critical or emergency repairs at a more affordable cost.

The program is for qualified homeowners in Cherokee and North Fulton counties. Information: 678-672-5225 or email skirkland@habitat-ncg.org
