A meeting is set for late January to discuss a significant renovation/addition project at North Springs High School in Sandy Springs.

District officials said that under their 2022 capital plan, North Springs has been slated to get new science labs, a new auditorium and black box theater, and new art, music and physical education facilities. Parking and draining improvements are also part of the $19 million project, as are new tennis courts, new stadium turf and a replacement running track surface. The improvements are being funded under a voter-approved 2016 ESPLOST referendum. During the meeting, the project architect and visioning firm will be introduced and a timeline for engaging the community and making the improvements will be talked about.

The meeting’s set for 6:30-8 p.m. Jan. 23 at Ison Springs Elementary School, 8261 Ison Road in Sandy Springs.
