Meeting Monday to kick off southwest DeKalb district

DeKalb County will host a kick off meeting Monday for its new overlay district in the Bouldercrest-Moreland roads area in the southwest part of the county.

The meeting seeks input on landscaping, lighting and other design issues for the district, which will create minimum standards for development in the area. The goal is to create a higher quality of design in the corridor.
