DeKalb County will host a public hearing Monday on a proposal to raise its stormwater fee.

Residents and businesses now pay $4 per water/sewer billing cycle for the fee, which pays to treat runoff water for pollution. A proposal would raise the amount to $5 per billing cycle, or every other month.

The public hearing begins at 7 p.m. Monday at the Maloof Auditorium, 1300 Commerce Dr., Decatur.
