The National Merit Scholarship process has already begun — and Gwinnett County Public Schools is represented well.

A total of 60 GCPS students have been named semi-finalists for the prestigious series of scholarships, which will formally be announced in the spring. A whopping 16 of Gwinnett's semi-finalists come from the acclaimed Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology, but 11 other GCPS institutions are also represented.
