The city of McDonough will reopen government offices to the public on Monday, but there will be some conditions.

To enter the buildings, visitors will be required to have their temperatures taken at the door and a mask must be worn while in the facilities, the city said.

McDonough is the latest government in south metro Atlanta to begin opening its doors to visitors, following Clayton, Henry and Fayette counties governmental bodies and the cities of Riverdale and Peachtree City.

While McDonough buildings will open, city parks and restrooms will remain closed until further notice, the city said.

As part of the opening, McDonough city staff will return to work at their regular hours. Government buildings in the city will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
