McDonough paving contract awarded
Fifteen McDonough streets will be paved under a plan approved Sept. 17 by the City Council.
The McDonough City Council voted Sept. 17 to award a $983,349.82 contract to Piedmont Paving to resurface 15 city streets.
According to a staff report, LMIG Grant funds will pay $235,786.90 and SPLOST IV funds will pay $747,562.92 of the cost.
The list includes portions of Bridges Road, Vaness Drive, NEC Drive, Turner Street, Brookside Drive, Dunn Street, City Square Boulevard, Sloan Street, Kelly Road, Cap Welch Drive, Wesley Lakes Boulevard, RL Stewart Court, Hazelhurst Street, Lemon Street and Lakemont Drive.
