McDonough fire department announces promotions

McDonough Fire Department officials announced this week that Dave Williams has been promoted from captain to deputy chief and James Robinson has been promoted from fire inspector to captain of inspections, effective July 1.

They have 15 and 10 years, respectively, with the department, whose spokesperson also noted that there are now two officers on duty per shift, one at each station – on Keys Ferry Street and on Avalon Parkway.
