The McDonough City Council voted at its Feb. 17 regular meeting to approve a proposal that will allow Vaughn & Melton to provide professional services for the design and survey, Georgia Department of Transportation drawings and an entrance permit for Jonesboro Road Park.

The $46,000 cost will be funded by the city’s SPLOST account. The council also approved a resolution authorizing transmittal of the update report for 2019 to the city’s capital improvements element, related to the city’s impact fee program, to the Atlanta Regional Commission for regional and state review. The votes on both of these actions were unanimous.
