Mays Road recently reopened to traffic

Mays Road was opened to traffic earlier this week. Located in unincorporated Stockbridge/Henry County, the culvert replacement project involved more than simply replacing a culvert. It also necessitated a hydrological study to ensure that the new culvert would be able to accommodate streamflow during periods of intense rain.

The improvements will provide for a safer road and will ensure that substantial rainfalls do not render the roadway unusable going forward.
