Mayors to deliver meals to elderly

Senior Services North Fulton will get an extra hand this month as mayors from Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, and Mountain Park help out with the Meals on Wheels program.

The mayors will be delivering meals and visiting with senior residents throughout their cities on March 21 as part of the national Mayors for Meals event. The event is designed to help raise awareness of the importance of senior nutrition and to mark the 40th anniversary of the inclusion of senior nutrition programs in the Older Americans Act.
