The 2018 qualifying period for Norcross concluded Aug. 24. Councilman David McLeroy qualified but will run for reelection against Elaine Puckett. Councilmembers Andrew Hixson, and Josh Bare will run unopposed.
The registration deadline to vote in this election is Oct. 9. Voters must reside within city limits. The election will be held 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 6, at City Hall, 65 Lawrenceville St., 2nd Floor Community Room. Advanced voting will occur 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each weekday Oct. 15 through Nov. 2 at the same location.
