MARTA's paratransit buses are running normally again after technical difficulties caused delays for much of Friday morning.

MARTA spokesman Lyle Harris said the problem, which cropped up around 6 a.m. Friday, affected the ability of dispatchers to communicate with the MARTA Mobility buses when customers called to request a ride.

The issues were resolved and service returned to normal around 11 a.m.

Harris said he could not immediately say how many people were affected by the problem.
