MARTA holds public hearing in Decatur

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transportation Authority will hold the second of two public hearings and informational meeting 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Maloof Auditorium, 1300 Commerce Drive in Decatur.

The meeting is to discuss the proposed Fiscal Year 2017 operating and capital budgets. Topics of discussion include the elimination of the Holiday Group Fare One-Day Ticket as well as several proposed bus service modifications which would take place effective Aug. 6.
