MARTA East Lake service suspended Sat. night

MARTA is suspending service at the East Lake station this weekend between 6 p.m. Nov. 20 and 6 a.m. Nov. 21 so it can conduct a multi-agency police emergency drill at the station and surrounding area, the agency has announced.

Among other things, neighbors should hear a loud bang between 9 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. A bus will shuttle passengers from East Lake to Candler station, and MARTA requests all cars to be taken from the East Lake lot that Saturday afternoon, according to MARTA.
