The MARTA board this week elected attorney Michael Tyler as its new chairman, replacing Michael Walls, whose one-year term was ending.  Other new officers include Vice Chairwoman JoAnn Godfrey McClinton from DeKalb County, Secretary Juanita Jones Abernathy from Atlanta, and Treasurer Barbara Babbit Kaufman from Fulton County.

Tyler is a lawyer at the firm Kilpatrick Stockton.
