Marietta will hold a grand opening at noon Saturday for an off-leash dog park at Wildwood Park at 1050 Barclay Circle.

The park has separate areas for small and large breeds. Rottweilers and pit bulls are prohibited in the new area, Parks and Recreation Director Rich Buss said. Lewis Park also has a dog park.

Other improvements to the 28-acre Wildwood Park include three picnic pavilions and about 3.5 miles of biking, hiking, and running trails.
