Utility bills won’t go up this year for Marietta Power & Water users.

The board of the city-owned utility company and Marietta City Council have decided not to raise fees in 2015 although environmental costs and utility wholesaler fees have gone up. Marietta City Manager Bill Bruton said the utility company has kept rates steady by cutting costs and planning ahead by starting a 10-year plan for capital improvements.
