Seats for the mayor and all seven city council seats in Marietta will be up for election on Nov. 7 for four-year terms.

Qualifying times will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed noon to 1 p.m. for lunch) Aug. 21-23 in the City Clerk’s office, 205 Lawrence St., fourth floor, Marietta.

Qualifying fees will be $756 for the mayor and $567 for the council. These fees are 3 percent of the annual salary - $25,200 for the mayor and $18,900 for the council.
