The Marietta City Schools will hold a hearing Tuesday about a proposed salary freeze.

The freeze on the daily rate of pay would affect the 2012 fiscal year, and anyone can comment to the school board about it at the meeting, which starts at 5:30 p.m. A board work session follows at 6 p.m. Another hearing on the salary freeze proposal is scheduled for June 21 at 6:30 p.m.

The hearings will occur at the school central offices at 250 Howard St. in Marietta.
