The city of Marietta is registering for its online Gem City Summer Camp titled “Camp in a Kit.”

This camp is comprised of five weeks of fun activities, June 29 through July 31, for children to enjoy, according to Marietta Communications Manager Lindsey Wiles.

Each “Camp in a Kit” is based on similar activities that typically are offered at Marietta’s Gem City Summer Camp but at home.

Designed for children ages 6 to 12, activities will include Sports, Fitness, Nutrition, Arts & Crafts and Nature - among them Binocular Soccer and Marshmallow Launchers.

These activities are designed to be completed in the children’s own time to accommodate their families’ schedule.

Each one-week kit will contain supplies for one child and cost $15 each.

All five weeks may be purchased - again at $15 for each week.
