Marietta’s Victory Park , between Roswell Street and South Marietta Parkway, has reopened after a $500,000 renovation.

The city held a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday at the 1940s era park on 6.7 acres near Marietta Sixth Grade Academy.

0The rehab includes a playground, plaza area with seating, sand volleyball court and outdoor fitness areas. The project was funded by a 2009 parks and recreation bond.
