It took just ten seconds for the first baby of 2015 to be delivered in metro Atlanta.

Amelia Luna Childs was born at 12:00:10 a.m. Thursday at Northside Hospital.

Her parents are from Marietta and hospital officials told Channel 2's Mike Petchenik that mom and baby are doing well.
