Barrow County Sheriff's deputies and Statham police arrested a Marietta man Wednesday accused of an Internet crime against a child.

James Christopher Redman, 50, allegedly had inappropriate conversations with an undercover investigator posing as an underage female. He arranged to meet the investigator in Barrow County and was arrested upon arrival.

Redman is being held at the Barrow County Detention Center on charges of enticing a child for indecent purposes, attempting to commit child molestation and five counts of computer or electronic pornography.
