Spring is (finally) in the air, and downtown Marietta will soon be the place to be when the Glover Park Concert Series returns to the square.

The series features local and regional acts taking the stage at 8 p.m. on the last Friday of each month between April and September.

The 2019 concert lineup includes:

  • April 26: KRP Band, a pop and rock band
  • May 31: 7 Sharp 9, which specializes in rock and roll
  • June 28: Chicago Rewired, a Chicago tribute band
  • July 26: The Tams, which plays Carolina beach music
  • Aug. 23* (the fourth Friday of the month): Mo' Soul Band, which performs R&B and Motown music
  • Sept. 27: Men In Blues, a classic rock and blues band

Attendees will be allowed to set up blankets and chairs in the park, but personal tables and plastic ground coverings are not allowed in the park. The city will allow you to set those up on the street after 5:30 p.m.

You can also bring a picnic dinner, including wine or beer, or explore some of the restaurants in the area.
