Marietta farmers market opens Saturday

The Marietta Square Farmers Market opens Saturday for the 2011 season.

About 60 vendors selling fruit, vegetables, flowers and desserts participate in the market each week.

The market opens at 9 a.m. and runs through noon on North Park Square between Shillings Restaurant and The Strand Theater. Free parking is available.
