Marietta has begun adding to its existing online permit process the ability to apply for electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC permits.

The change continues to modernize the plan review and permit application process by no longer requiring the applicant to visit multiple city departments for plan approvals, according to a city statement on April 12.

Instead residents and contractors may submit their applications and plans in a digital format through the city’s website at MariettaGa.gov/1152/5044/Sages.

A secure online account must be created with the city to submit the plans and communicate with staff by receiving notifications throughout the plan review process.
