Marietta police are investigating a pedestrian crash that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

About 6:15 p.m. Monday, Christopher Foltanski of Marietta was driving westbound on Roswell Road toward Frey’s Gin Road, Marietta police Officer Jared Rakestraw said Tuesday in an emailed statement.

When Foltanski entered the center turn lane of Roswell Road to turn left onto Frey’s Gin Road, his vehicle struck Moses Perez-Vargas, also of Marietta, Rakestraw said. Perez-Vargas, who was walking in the center turn lane at the time of the crash, was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he remained Tuesday morning.

No other details were released.
