The Marietta City Council will consider allowing the sale and drinking of alcoholic beverages during two special events this year.
These matters are expected to be decided at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chamber, City Hall, 205 Lawrence St., according to the draft agenda.
Between midnight and 11 p.m. Sept. 27 sales of beer and wine next to Glover Park and drinking of beer and wine in the park are being requested for the Whole Hawg Happenin’ BBQ and Music Festival.
