Marietta City sponsors back to school conference

To celebrate students returning to school this year, Marietta City Schools will sponsor a educator technology conference in August. The conference will be held at Roswell Street Baptist Church on Aug. 6 at 7 a.m. It will include breakfast and several speakers. The theme of this year's conference is "Aftershock: Responding to the cultural shifts of Gen iY" and will feature Tim Elmore, an expert on technology and education.
