The Marietta City Council voted Monday to keep the general fund millage rate of 2.788, the same as last year’s rate.

In June, the council adopted a balanced budget without raising taxes, establishing new fees or reducing services.

Covering July 1 through June 30, the city’s overall Fiscal Year 2016 budget is $339.7 million, which includes $52.7 million for the general fund budget.
