Kraiburg TPE Corp., a manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomer compounds used for automotive, medical and consumer devices such as toothbrushes, googles, etc., will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new 70,000 square foot facility at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Mill Business Park in Buford.

Kraiburg’s new facility, to be relocated from North Berkeley Lake Road in Duluth, will accommodate more than 100 employees upon completion. The project represents a capital investment of $15 million.

Currently, the company employs 440 people and operates production facilities on three continents. In their efforts to participate in the Gwinnett community, Kraigburg participated in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Forum at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce in August and the Duluth Fall Festival at the end of September.
